Courtney has joined us from PSA Finance UK Limited, where she worked as an in-house paralegal.
“I am meticulous and organised, bringing my skills in drafting, case management, time management and teamwork to CooperBurnett,” Courtney says. “I am excited to be working in Litigation, which can be a challenging and fast-paced environment. I am looking forward to being exposed to varying legal areas and cases, as well as entrusted to manage multiple caseloads.”
Courtney has wanted to be a lawyer since she was a child. She completed her Bachelor of Commerce (Bcom) in Law degree at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, followed by her Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP London, Waterloo, as well as her Masters in Legal Practice (Solicitors) at BPP London, Holborn.
“Everyone here at CooperBurnett has been very friendly, welcoming and supportive,” says Courtney. “I am positive that I will receive the necessary guidance, encouragement and support needed for me to further my legal career.”
Adds Joseph Oates, Partner at CooperBurnett: “We are delighted to welcome Courtney to the firm. She’s already settling in well and making an impact within the Litigation team.”
When she’s not at work, Courtney enjoys being creative and this includes painting and creating digital prints. She is an avid traveller, with a keen interest in exploring different cultures and cuisines.
