Litigation Solicitor 1-5 PQE

We have an excellent opportunity for a Litigation Solicitor, with proven experience in Property Disputes, to join our thriving team. This is a supported role, working with two very experienced solicitors.

The role will involve dealing with high value, often complex property disputes, working for our broad range of established clients (a mix of commercial and high net worth individuals).

The position is primarily located in Tunbridge Wells but offers flexibility for hybrid working.

The role:

  • The successful candidate will deal with all aspects of property disputes, working within our Litigation team
  • Advising clients on a broad range of contentious property matters including commercial landlord and tenants on breaches of covenant, 1954 Act business lease renewals, dilapidations, service charges and forfeiture claims
  • Advising primarily residential landlords on enforcing tenancy agreements including bringing County Court possession claims
  • Advising landowners on real property matters including boundary disputes, easements, restrictive covenants and adverse possession
  • Supporting our busy and expanding commercial property and residential conveyancing teams
  • Represent clients in High Court and County Court litigation, arbitration, mediation and other forms of ADR
  • Opportunity to get involved in business development and grow your personal profile in the area through existing networking groups

The candidate:

  • A qualified Litigation Solicitor with previous property disputes experience, 1-5 years PQE
  • Strong technical knowledge of contentious property law with the ability to manage files independently
  • Commercially minded with excellent client care and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other members of the firm
