She’s been with TeamCB since January 2020 as a float secretary and has worked across various teams during that time.
Peggy says Private Client is the ‘right team and the right opportunity’ for her.
“I am looking forward to the challenges this new role will bring and excited to be working with the Private Client team,” says Peggy. “As somebody who has worked across the firm, it’ll be good to really get involved and understand how Private Client works, while being more client-facing.”
Adds Sarah Strong, Private Client Partner: “Peggy is already a fantastic member of TeamCB and somebody we’ve known as a colleague for four years but it’s great to have her now as part of our Private Client department. We are really busy here and are grateful for her support and enthusiasm.”
Previously, Peggy worked with another local firm, having been first introduced to them through work experience and then offered a role there when she left school. She went on to spend time with a couple of large City law firms in London.
“I love it here at CooperBurnett; everyone is so approachable and kind,” says Peggy. “I never feel afraid of asking a question and it feels like we are all singing from the same song sheet.”
Peggy is one of TeamCB who has completed the Walk Tonbridge Marathon and says that while it was a ‘challenge’ it was great to be part of it.
“It makes me feel proud to watch how involved CooperBurnett is in our local community and to see our logo out there,” she adds. “My brother was recently at the Tunbridge Wells Business Awards and saw CooperBurnett was the headline sponsor and that made me feel proud.”
In her spare time, Peggy enjoys spending time with her family and going out on dog walks, while she’s also learning Spanish.
