Peggy Hendley joined the team at CooperBurnett in January 2020 as a float secretary and has worked across various teams during that time. In January 2025, she moved to the Private Client team as a Paralegal.

Previously, Peggy worked with another local firm, having been first introduced to them through work experience and then offered a role there when she left school. She went on to spend time with a couple of large City law firms in London.

She says that Private Client is the ‘right team and the right opportunity’ for her and she’s relishing the chance to be more client facing.

Peggy is one of TeamCB who has completed the Walk Tonbridge Marathon.

“It makes me feel proud to watch how involved CooperBurnett is in our local community and to see our logo out there,” she adds.

In her spare time, Peggy enjoys spending time with her family and going out on dog walks, while she’s also learning Spanish.
