CooperBurnett is delighted to be launching the West Kent Charity Governance Group jointly with Williams Giles, Accountants.  It offers an opportunity for trustees and management teams of local and regional charities to share best practice and insight into the charity sector. 

The new group is the brainchild of CooperBurnett Partner, Tom Lumsden, and Alex Ffrench, Head of Charities at Williams Giles, both of whom specialise in advising charities, and represent a significant number of charity clients. 

Tom joined CooperBurnett as a partner in 2006. He is based within our Corporate and Commercial team, where he focuses on commercial property, acting for developers, landowners and investors. He is an expert on advising charities and care home owners on various matters including site acquisition, disposal and finance.
