John joined CooperBurnett’s litigation team in 2018 and is a member of the Property Litigation Association. He has more than 20 years’ experience in all aspects of property disputes, including residential and commercial landlord and tenant work, dilapidations and service charge disputes, business and residential possession claims.
CooperBurnett has been closely involved with the organisation, which represents solicitors practicing and living in West Kent, for a number of years.
“It’s been an interesting 12 months to be part of the leadership team at the TWTDLS,” says John Spence. “We have continued our meetings virtually and it’s been a good way of keeping in touch with other lawyers in West Kent, developing and supporting our colleagues in the profession.”
Adds Partner Victoria Sampson: “We are really excited that John is due to become President of TWTDLS next year. It’s a role that I’m proud to say has been held by a number of team members from CooperBurnett over the years, including myself and Katie Gillam. Everyone at the firm wishes John a successful year as Vice President; we are eagerly anticipating his Presidential year.”
