The organisation’s mission is to inspire confidence in families planning their assets across generations by setting and upholding high professional standards, informing public policy, promoting education, and connecting practitioners globally to share knowledge and best practice.
The topic of Sarah’s first essay was ‘Will Preparation and Considerations, and how to ensure a Will would not be invalid for reasons of capacity, lack of knowledge and understanding or undue influence.
Sarah has been part of our Private Client team since 2014 and assists clients with the preparation of Wills and advises on Inheritance Tax, including supporting executors. She also advises and assists clients in relation to Lasting Powers of Attorney and deals with making applications to the Court of Protection, where a relative has lost the capacity to manage their own affairs. Recently her role has expanded to include more technical Wills for business owners.
