The charity is currently in the process of building a learning centre, which will comprise a small library, IT room, small and large classrooms, as well as a central square, which will incorporate a stage for performance and lectures. It is hoped that the money raised from the ball will complete the learning forum – literally raise the roof.
The charity is run by Helen Leale-Green, who is based in Tunbridge Wells and is a member of the networking group Network B2B, along with CooperBurnett Partner, Gemma Gillespie.
“The work that Our Moon Education does is utterly inspiring and changes the lives of the young people it supports,” says Gemma, who is looking forward to attending the ball. “Having heard first-hand from Helen about this work during our Network B2B meetings meant that we were more than happy to support this ball.”
The ball is taking place at the Hotel du Vin on Thursday 27 February and includes food, along with music, as well as an auction and raffle prizes. Tickets are available here: https://ourmoon.charitycheckout.co.uk/cf/charity-ball
