The support from CooperBurnett has provided the teams with new branded kit, ensuring that the talented young riders and their ponies look the part when representing their school in prestigious National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) competitions and events.
Since the partnership began in 2023, the equestrian teams have made significant progress and enjoyed considerable success, with several students earning recognition for their performances in competitive events.
Anna Robinson, Executive Headteacher and CEO of MARK Education Trust, expressed gratitude for CooperBurnett’s continued support of this exciting enrichment offer for students:
“As a trust, we are extremely grateful to CooperBurnett LLP for their ongoing support of our two schools’ equestrian teams. Their generosity has played a vital role in developing a strong sense of team spirit amongst our students and supports them to develop confidence and skills such as teamwork, discipline and resilience. This partnership is a perfect example of how local businesses can have a meaningful impact on the development of young people. We are proud to partner with a firm that shares our commitment to excellence and community development.”
"We are very happy to be continuing our sponsorship of the equestrian teams at Beacon Academy and Uplands Academy," says Joseph Oates, Partner at CooperBurnett LLP. "It's been fantastic to follow their achievements over the past couple of years and see the team members thriving, building friendships with other students and, of course, the gorgeous horses. We also recognise the time and commitment each team manager gives to making this partnership such a success."
The equestrian teams are now preparing for a busy season of events, and with the continued backing of CooperBurnett, they are excited for what lies ahead.
Recently Joseph went along with Partner Sarah Strong and her daughter Emily to meet some of the students and their gorgeous ponies.
