“I like the variety of the role and being able to help across the board in Litigation,” Elizabeth says.
She joined us from a role as a junior litigator working on the claimants’ side of road traffic accidents.
Elizabeth graduated from the Open University with a degree in law in 2023. She completed her studies while working full-time as a support worker in the care profession, part of which was during the pandemic.
She always wanted to work in law, having done lots of research into interesting careers while still at school and discovered that law ‘kept coming up’ as an option. While only 16, she took herself into London to attend talks from solicitors and barristers to find out more.
Elizabeth was brought up in Tunbridge Wells, so was aware of our firm.
“Since I’ve arrived, everyone has been really supportive and helpful, encouraging me to pursue my goal of becoming a lawyer,” she explains.
Add John Spence: “We are very happy to welcome Elizabeth; she’s a good addition to the Litigation team. I’m very much enjoying working with her and seeing her progress her legal career here at CooperBurnett.”
In her spare time, Elizabeth has a pug called Bruno who she enjoys going on little adventures with, while she also enjoys spending time with family and travelling.
