This month (March 2023) Partner and Head of our Private Client team, Katie Gillam, is celebrating 15 years with CooperBurnett LLP. She joins a number of our team who are marking significant work anniversaries in 2023. Partner Jonathan Rowe will also have been with us for 15 years in June; while Head of Accounts, Gareth Warner, celebrated 25 years last month; and Head of Residential Property, Jennifer Irving, will have been with us 20 years in October.
Katie became a Partner at CooperBurnett in 2013 and, during 2016, was President of Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge & District Law Society (a role which Partner John Spence currently holds).
Katie has a wide range of experience in dealing with private client work and specialises in Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work. She advises individuals on estate planning and the use of trusts for asset protection, while she regularly assists executors when administering estates and endeavours to provide a sensible and sensitive approach to what is often a difficult and complex area of law.
When she's not at work, Katie enjoys spending time with her young family and is a governor of a local primary school.
