We are proud to count several former TWTDLS Presidents among our team, including Partners John Spence, Victoria Sampson and Katie Gillam. CooperBurnett Solicitor, Imogen Fleur, is currently President of the Kent Junior Lawyer Division (JLD).
As usual, a feature of the evening will be the Kent JLD Achievement Awards and, this year, Courtney Kan has been nominated for the Trainee Solicitor award.
Courtney joined our team in March last year and was awarded a training contract with us six months ago. Having spent time in both Residential Property and Commercial Property & Development, she is currently occupying seats in both our Employment and Private Client departments.
Partner Joseph Oates, Courtney’s training principal, says: “It’s great to see how Courtney is thriving as she progresses through her training contract here at CooperBurnett and she is very deserving of her nomination in the Kent JLD Achievement Awards this year.”
Courtney completed her Bachelor of Commerce (Bcom) in Law degree at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, following which she moved to the UK in January 2020 where she completed her Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) at BPP London, followed by her Masters in Legal Practice (Solicitors) at BPP London, Holborn.
