This figure comprised £6,000 which was fundraised and then pound-matched by our Partners.
The ‘magnificent seven’ team members who took part in the challenge were Partners Victoria Sampson, Joseph Oates, Gemma Gillespie and Sarah Strong; Head of Accounts, Gareth Warner; Associate Solicitor, Ayla Clissold; and PA to the Commercial Property team, Hannah Mashford. Between them, they walked and ran an astonishing 500km over two days in June, starting and finishing at Goodwood.
Three of the team Ayla, Sarah and Gemma, each individually covered an incredible 100km (62.1 miles) – with Ayla and Sarah completing that distance in one go.
Anyès Sineux-Reading, Corporate Partnerships Account Manager at Demelza visited us to thank the team. They were joined by Jonathan Rowe, who represented our Partners.
“We are thrilled that CooperBurnett has chosen Demelza as their charity of choice and are so appreciative of the incredible determination it took to tackle The Race To The King,” says Anyès. “The generosity of those who sponsored the team – and that of the firm’s Partners to pound-match what was raised - is helping many families at Demelza and will allow us to deliver our services to more children. Thank you to CooperBurnett for your support.”
