A DEMENTIA FRIENDLY BUSINESS

A DEMENTIA FRIENDLY BUSINESS

POSTED: 01/10/2019

We are delighted that CooperBurnett has now been officially recognised as a Dementia Friendly Business by Kent County Council – one of the first in Tunbridge Wells to achieve this status - and can display the official ‘recognition symbol’.

Associate Solicitor, Katie Hancock, who is part of the Private Client team, is now working to become a Dementia Friendly Champion, so she can go and deliver training sessions to other organisations. In the meantime, she is speaking at an event on 22 October at the Assembly Hall, organised by Royal Tunbridge Wells Together, on why CooperBurnett thinks being dementia friendly is so vital.

The Private Client team, which specialises in Wills, Powers of Attorney and Probate, frequently act for clients who have been affected, both directly and indirectly, by dementia.

“We are really proud that CooperBurnett is now recognised as officially ‘dementia friendly’," says Katie. “We are committed to making our business more dementia aware and dementia friendly wherever possible.”
