John Spence appointed to the Council at local Law Society

Property litigation Partner, John Spence, who joined CooperBurnett last year, has been elected to the Council of the Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge & District Law Society (TWTDLS). He replaces fellow Partner, Gemma Gillespie, who is standing down after three years on the Council.

CooperBurnett has been closely involved with the organisation, which represents solicitors practicing and living in West Kent, for a number of years. Partners Victoria Sampson and Katie Gillam have both held the role of President of TWTDLS, as did former Partner and now Consultant, Jonathan Smithers, who went on to be President of The Law Society of England and Wales.

“I am very proud to now be on the Council of our local Law Society,” says John Spence. “The organisation does much to support the work of lawyers in this area and it’s a really useful way to develop and support those in our profession.”
