Cooperburnett Solicitors Tunbridge Wells we have new images in our reception - taken by our very talented Associate Solicitor Charlotte Mackenzie.

Anyone who has visited our office in Tunbridge Wells recently will have noticed that our reception is looking a little different. The artwork that’s been adorning the walls for some years has been replaced with some stunning photographs of local landscapes, including Bodiam Castle, Eastbourne Pier, Camber and High Rocks in Tunbridge Wells. These images have been taken by our very talented Associate Solicitor Charlotte Mackenzie.

Charlotte joined us last year and assists clients with a variety of commercial property matters, including landlord and tenant, sales and acquisitions, secured lending and property aspects of corporate transactions, as well as leasehold enfranchisement.

In addition to the photographs in reception, our corridors include images from around the world – ranging from London to Slovenia and the Taj Mahal in India to Paris. Our conference room focuses on scenes from Venice, including the Bridge of Sighs and the city’s iconic gondolas.

Charlotte became interested in photography aged 17, when she bought a camera to take with her on a school trip to Iceland.

“My Mum is a keen photographer, so she encouraged me,” says Charlotte. “I fell in love with the scenery in Iceland and was so inspired by the photos I took there, that I wanted to take more.”

Since then, her holiday destinations have been chosen due to the likelihood of seeing ‘a good sunset or some interesting architecture’.  She focuses on landscapes and nature – rather than people – and says her favourite destinations to photograph so far have been Cuba, due to its ‘colours and culture’ and The Galapagos for its ‘incredible wildlife and nature’.

Next on her list of destinations is China and she’s travelling with a specialist photography tour group to make sure she gets some amazing shots in locations including Beijing and Shanghai. Charlotte will also be visiting the Great Wall and the Terracotta Army.

Many people have already commented on the beautiful images and we are delighted to reveal that Charlotte’s photographs are available to purchase to raise money for our charity of choice Taylor Made Dreams!

You can buy the images through us in a number of standard sizes, framed or unframed (get in contact and we’ll let you know the price). All we ask is that a minimum charitable donation of £50 is then added to this cost.

Any of Charlotte’s images can be purchased, so pop along to her website to see the full collection: www.charlottebrettphotography.co.uk
